Marine Disaster Prevention Work

At Mizushima port, our work involves, but not limited to, departing and approaching the pier, supplying water to ships, setting up and taking down the oil fence when bunkering. In close partnership with our contract firms, we are ready 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to deal flexibly with any sudden changes in our customers' schedule, and help support our customers with whatever they need from the moment they embark until disembarkation.

Oil spills at Mizushima port will be dealt with by employing an oil fence extender or oil absorbent mats, based on a contract with the Maritime Disaster Prevention Center, to separate the oil from the water, then agitate the water surface using a water cannon until all trace of oil is removed from the water.
